Portugal Pharmaceutical Cannabis Products Exports are estimated above 100 Million euros
From 2016 until the end of the first semester of 2023, Portugal Pharmaceutical Cannabis Products Exports is estimated to a total 102 Mio €.
Sales were growing fast, but in 2023 it’s estimated to increase 22%. Estimated value for 2023 is 45 Million euros for 2023 and in 2022 it was 37 Million euro, an increase of Value calculated with a average sales price estimated of 4 € / g for the Cannabis Products exported.
Estimate sales in Kg for 2023: 11 ton
This year we used 4€ / g of cannabis product, while in the last year it was used 5 €/g.

The export to Israel seems to have been stopped:
Might be due to restrictive regulations of Israel.
The markets change in 2023:
Poland and Australia markets are near 50% of the exports and Israel is now with zero export.
When until 2022:
Israel was near 50% of exports.
Exports to Spain can be product for irradiation.
Sales of ACM products in packs and in euro:
The approval of ACM is going very slow, Since 2019 only one ACM was approved: Tilray Flor Seca THC 18 in packs of 15 g
There are 3 ACM for Substances and 12 ACM for Preparations at INFARMED analysis for approval.
