Using INFARMED data, MANOSTAXX prepared an analyze of the the Pharmaceutical products price at the Pharmacy.
We propose an increase of sale price of Pharmaceutical products.
The products price were divided in ranges of price, and count the number of pharmaceutical products registered in each range:
We found that 87% of the products has a pharmacy price below 25 €.
If you have a prescription, then the price you pay will be much lower.
As prices are very low, they start not to be possible to be manufactured at a production cost lower than the product sale price.
Compared to Food Supplement prices, where the quality and safety requirements are far less then Pharmaceutical products, the pharmaceutical products have today much lower sale price.
We propose the sale price of pharmaceutical products be reviewed with an increase, that there should not be no pharmaceutical product with a sale price below 15 €.
